Turkeyfish

Tired of turkey? Trying to avoid those sleep-inducing tryptophans? Maybe your family should try cooking a turkeyfish for Thanksgiving this year! Lionfish, nicknamed “turkeyfish,” could replace the traditional poultry this year. I’ve never eaten lionfish myself, but I’ve heard they are pretty tasty. Lionfish are an invasive species taking over the Gulf of Mexico. They eat everything in their path and have poisonous spines, but fortunately we can eat them! Help fight invasive species this Thanksgiving and eat a turkeyfish.
